Current Opportunities
Associate Physiotherapist — Structured Clinical Growth Role
Location: Markham, with potential opportunities involving Stouffville depending on clinic needs, provider fit, and patient demand.
Position Type: Part-time, with opportunity to grow.
Preferred Availability: Minimum 2 consistent days per week preferred.
About the Role
This role is suited for a physiotherapist who wants to develop within a structured clinical environment. Care at Cohesion is guided by assessment, reassessment, functional goals, active treatment, patient education, and manual therapy when clinically indicated.
The successful candidate will provide one-on-one physiotherapy care, develop individualized treatment plans, document clearly and professionally, and help patients progress toward improved function and self-management.
This is a good fit for someone who is professional, coachable, organized, and interested in growing within a team-based physiotherapy model.
Responsibilities
- Complete physiotherapy assessments and follow-up treatments
- Use reassessment findings and functional goals to guide care
- Provide education, exercise progression, active rehabilitation, and manual therapy when clinically indicated
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient presentation, goals, and response to care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate clearly with patients, administrative staff, and other care providers
- Support patients in progressing toward independence and self-management
- Participate in case discussion, mentorship, or clinical review where appropriate
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy
- Comfortable with exercise prescription and active rehabilitation
- Manual therapy experience is an asset
- Additional language ability is an asset
- Interest in long-term professional growth is preferred

Registered Massage Therapist
Location: Markham and/or Stouffville, depending on provider availability, clinic needs, and patient demand.

About the Role
Cohesion is looking for a Registered Massage Therapist who values patient-centred care, clear communication, and professional practice.
This role is suited for an RMT who is interested in working in a clinical environment alongside physiotherapists and other care providers. Massage therapy at Cohesion may support patients with soft tissue symptoms, movement-related discomfort, recovery, relaxation, and general wellness goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide massage therapy assessment and treatment within professional scope
- Develop treatment plans based on patient goals and presentation
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment, comfort, and consent
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide education or self-management advice where appropriate
- Collaborate professionally with clinic staff and other providers when needed
- Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional standards
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-centred approach to care
- Interest in working within a collaborative clinical environment
- Additional language ability is an asset
